Let's get acquainted

It's 2018, and we just bought this 2018 Promaster Cargo Van. We're about to build out this van, sell our home (and everything in it) and hit the road!

My name is CHRIS, I will be the one attempting to blog this journey of ours. I am traveling with my husband RAY and our 2 Boston Terriers, BRUTUS & SOPHIE!!

Prior to this new lifestyle we were about to embark on, we really enjoyed our lives. Ray was an Executive the financial world, while I was an Esthetician for an amazing Plastic Surgeon.

We were married very young, didn't finish college, and chose not to have children. Our lives were pretty open, and we found ourselves working harder and harder, and playing less and less.

We had to stop and ask ourselves, why are we doing this?

It's 2019, and Ray has officially quit his job to work on building our new home on wheels.

Before we go any further - we are now traveling with only one fur baby. In September 2021, SOPHIE, our sweet girl, began having seizures non-stop. We had to make the call to take her to the Rainbow Bridge. You will see her in many photos as I go back in time to catch you up on the last year and a half. And we will also talk about this experience, because having to do this while on the road...in a state where we had no Vet services...and on a Saturday, only led to the stress and heartbreak of this situation.

It's 2022, and we are now a family of 3! And although BRUTUS is getting to be an old man, he still travels and hikes like a champ!

We've already been through 20 states and 22 National Parks, and I can't wait to share them all with you!
