We have been planning our Camino Frances walk for the past few months and have been getting all our gear and minds wrapped around spending 40+ days on the pilgrimage. The training started in January with the Saint Louis Chapter of the American Pilgrims On The Camino. We received great suggestions and encouragement from many that had completed different Caminos. We are excited as we have several friends that will be walking around the same time as us and expect to meet many new friends along the way. We got up early to watch the launch. This video does it no justice. It was so incredible.

We decided to help our friends run their Christmas Tree Lot this year. We were located at Cottage Lake Park just outside of Woodinville, WA. This is just a glimpse of the tree setup! Leave any questions or comments below.

As we head to WA we stopped for the night t the base of Mt. Hood. When I tell you we could smell the trees...they were heavenly!!! I wish we had time to spend more time here! We'll definitely be back.

We had plans to go to Oregon and visit friends. But they had a family emergency and needed to cancel. Although we wanted to see them badly, we needed to pivot. We decided to check out Bend, OR and see what all the fuss is about. Well, it's kinda beautiful!!! That's what all the fuss is about. We enjoyed hiking this area and loved Tumalo Falls!
